This trompe-l'oeil mural spans the upper facade of the building at 135–137 N Woodland Blvd — today home to the Orchid Rain and Blue Culinary Studio storefronts — in downtown DeLand. Marked 'Gibbs 1937,' it recalls Gibbs, a historic downtown clothing store, painting an elderly couple leaning on a balcony rail beside an arched shop window displaying 1930s fashions. It is part of downtown DeLand's collection of building murals.
